‘Twas a Happy 2023 Halloween!

More than 30 homes showed their Halloween spirit at their door fronts, entries, garages and lawns. Our Bridlewood homes showed a wide range of decorations – from small single item charm to large elaborate themes.

The votes are in!

Spookiest / Teens and Fright Night Experience were close in votes and were directed to just a few homes, and ultimately favored the same home. It is probably no surprise that the Haunted House gained the most thrills! We had a clear favorite for Overall Theme with the conversational skeletons, and perhaps that may be due to the neighborly coordination of theme! How fun that the scene extended into two yards. The list of homes mentioned as favorite for Pumpkin Collection and Young Children-friendly were varied and extended many addresses. In total, about 20 homes were acknowledged for their decorations by the voters. That shows great first year participation in both taste and homeowner imagination!

We applaud our first year Favorites winners:

  • Pumpkin Collection: 1641 Derby. Boo!
  • Young Children: 8101 Trimble. Ghosts in a line
  • Spookiest / Teens: 1601 Sundrop. Haunted house.
  • Best Fright Night experience: 1601 Sundrop. Haunted house.
  • Overall: 1640 Sundrop. Spiders and skeletons.

Honorable mention:

  • 8100 Andover, house climbing skeletons
  • 8128 Kenton, photo booth.
  • 1636 Sundrop, skeleton neighbors in the theme with 1640 Sundrop

The night did not disappoint with the many costumes of trick-or-treaters! From littles to towering, from sweet to frightening, the candy bowls were emptied by ghosts and goblins and characters of all kinds leaving Bridlewood safe from tricksters – this year!
